Dr. Villella elected to Carol’s Cause Board of Directors 

Carol’s Cause the Mineola, New York based 501 (c) (3) not-for-profit organization announced that a new member has joined its Board of Directors.  Jeannine Villella DO, FACOG, FACS was unanimously elected to the Board at its January 27, 2010 meeting.  Dr. Villella is the Associate Director of Gynecologic Oncology at Winthrop-University Hospital, Mineola, NY.  She also is an Assistant Professor at SUNY Stony Brook School of Medicine. 

Carol’s Cause is named in honor of the late Carol R. Laino and was founded to fulfill her dying wish, to help women affected by gynecologic cancers.  The funds raised by Carol’s Cause fund gynecologic cancer research.
